An RCMP-accredited fingerprinting company is authorized by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to provide fingerprinting services in Canada for civil purposes, such as immigration, employment, foreign travel or work, name change, adoption, pardon application, and business licence.
These companies use RCMP-certified equipment to capture fingerprints. They submit fingerprints electronically to the RCMP’s Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services (CCRTIS).
The RCMP accredits these companies to ensure that they meet certain standards for security, accuracy, and confidentiality. Goodwin Canada has been an accredited fingerprinting agency since 2020.
Please note that the RCMP does not accredit private fingerprinting companies outside of Canada. However, you can have your fingerprints taken by the local authorities outside of Canada. Then send all required documents to an accredited agency in Canada for submission.
If you’re looking for such a company, you can find a list of RCMP-accredited fingerprinting companies on the official RCMP website.
